Well this post comes with a lot of pictures. I've finally starting getting some baby chub around my midsection. I don't know if you can call it a "bump" yet, but it's definitely growing. I can't wait until it's more "obvious." :)

We had a fun week of weather to kick off February. We had some crazy sleet/ice storm and temperatures that didn't get above mid-20's for FOUR days....couple that with a completely unprepared state with a handful of sand trucks and dedication to Super Bowl events first, we were pretty much stuck at home. Matt and I still had to brave the hockey rink roads to get to work a few times, but I did manage to work from home some, especially the day we got over 6 inches of snow ON TOP of the ice.....and the sad part is, I know that Maureen and Robin had it WAYYYY worse than we did, crazy blizzard madness across the country!
The week before the ice and snow, we managed to have some beautiful, spring-like days, allowing me to partake in my first workouts/physical activity since late October/early November. It was also a perfect weekend to shop for......BABY FURNITURE :). Matt and I found this adorable shop only 15 minutes from our house, and it was nursery heaven! It's called Lone Star Baby and Kids - and they have some seriously awesome stuff!
Anywhoo, right when we walked in we saw a GREAT set of nursery furniture, in white (which I'd realllly been leaning towards for a boy or a girl) for a really good price! We checked a few other options, but it seemed like the best deal we'd come across for 3 pieces in the finish/color that we liked. It was delivered today, and we're in the process of converting our guest room into a nursery! :) I hope our guests don't mind sleeping on a futon in the "man room" :).

I'm still on the hunt for an upholstered glider chair, and by next Monday we should *hopefully* know what we're having, so I can start picking out bedding, paint and all the other fun accessories!
I think that's really it for now. But in a week I should have more exciting news to share! Hope everyone's February is off to a great start - and Happy Early Anniversary to Tom and Chickie Hickey!! :)
